3 Quick things to know...

I utilize a wide variety of therapeutic models. I am creative and I believe one model does not fit all people. I believe it is important to stay flexible as a therapist and find a unique fit for each client.

I believe in the resilience of people and desire to equip clients with tools and resources and then get out of the way. The goal of a therapist is to work yourself out of a job with each client. I will work hard to help you to reach your goals.

My services include individual, couples, family, and group therapy

  • Individuals - stress, anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, grief, life transitions, relationships with others

  • Couples - communication, healing attachment wounds, building connection and intimacy, infidelity recovery

  • Families – communication, understanding, adjusting to life transitions, grief

  • Group – utilizing an experiential model, group participants will explore a wide variety of topics

The Longer Bio and Why I Can Relate – we are resilient (yes you are!)

Life is messy. I know this from my own beautiful, wonderful and sometimes messy life. I have faced anxiety, grief, depression and finding my way through life transitions which can catch me off guard. Each twist and turn has taught me valuable life lessons which have resulted in growth and resilience. Embracing life’s messiness has allowed me to connect on a deeper level with my clients. As a result, I can offer empathy and understanding to each of my clients. In my various roles; as a therapy client, a trained therapist, wife of 34 years, mother to 5 wonderful adult children, daughter-in-law, mother-in-law, grandmother to 2 spectacular little ones, daughter, sister and friend, I've accumulated a wealth of tools to nurture growth and navigate life's challenges. I can help you navigate the messiness, find beauty, and build resilience as well.

I've always been committed to lifelong learning. In my previous profession as an educator, I consistently sharpened my skills and utilized a variety of teaching methods to engage students effectively. As a therapist, I continue to dive deep into professional training to offer my clients a variety of tools and methods.I consistently tell myself that I will not buy any more books about therapy or personal growth and yet there is always another book in my cart. I have invested a great amount of resources, time and energy to continuously grow in my role as a therapist. A role that is energizing to me and brings richness to my life.
